Florence Italy. Fall 2022

I studied abroad in Florence Italy with Pasadena City College & AIFS and it was one of the best decisions i’ve ever made.

During my senior year of high school I was taking a Western Art History course. The class was an after school dual enrollment course with PCC and PHS that I decided to take for fun. I mentions wanting to go PCC and the teacher recommend I go visit most of the art work in person via the program. I applied for the program and also applied and won a creative scholarship to document the program and here is some of that stuff.

After returning I learned how to edit using Premier Pro after the Premier Rush projects started getting too complicated. I spent three months editing and making several versions of the first video below. The (my visual journal) is the first week.

At the very bottom are some photos from the trip. I mainly used the Canon G7Xii but also the Canon 100D, an Illford Point&shoot, DJI mini 2, and Nishika N8000.

Things I which I would have done differently, bringing a tripod, investing in a better camera with interchangeable lenses, filmed more day in the life vlogs, spent less time on the edit. I love the footage but I know I could have gotten better stuff as soon as I started the edit.
